¹⁰ Then^(A) Judas Iscariot,^(B) one of the Twelve,^(C) went to the chief priests^(D) to hand Him over^(E) to them. ¹¹ And when they heard this, they were glad and promised to give him silver.^[a](F) So he started looking for a good opportunity to betray^(G) Him.

Preparation for Passover

¹² On^(H) the first day of Unleavened Bread, when they sacrifice the Passover lamb,^(I) His disciples^(J) asked Him, “Where do You want us to go and prepare the Passover so You may eat it?”
